Arrrrggghhhh!!!

I am so rubbish with flowers! Never mind I am sure I will get it right one day lol.
I should be finished with this in few days. Just a few finishing touches , then I need to make the mini to go inside....

I had to pop into Hobbycraft earlier to pick up more cards to finish the wedding invites, & of course came out with a few extra things.
I was very good...only bought some pretty pink flowers & more wooden letters both of which were only £1.49 each.
I also got a new small butterfly punch as mine broke the other week.
I could have got alot more but I was very good & remembered I am skint lol.
Got home & my ebay goodies had arrived....some fab hinges, a key & lock & a small pocket watch. These are all for my nieces letters (which I am still waiting for).
I am out & about again & am blogging whilst in a huge queue in M&S.

I have started on my wedding gift.
Am not very happy with it already!
I've put the first band of paper on the largest box & I have bubbles, which I cannot smooth out.
I am going to crack on with it & see how it goes.
If I dont like it I will do something else & chalk this one up to a failure!
It's all one big learning curve right!

Bursting to craft

After not really knowing what I wanted to do next I now cannot wait to get stuck in to 3 new projects.

Firstly, my niece has asked me to make her some altered letters (The word HOME). I have ordered what I need so just waiting for delivery, & then I can get started.

Secondly, my round nesting boxes arrived so I can make a start on my wedding gift. That should be fun.

Thirdly, I am going to attempt to make "The Gentleman crafter's" steampunk hot air balloon.
After seeing Jim's tutorial on You Tube, I fell in love with it & so I am going to have a go. I will have to improvise alittle but thats the fun of crafting right?

Am busy doing boring humdrum stuff for the next few days so not starting these quite yet, but soon...& I cannot wait to get stuck in!!

Something new!

What to make next?

Now that is the question...

 I am waiting for delivery of more round boxes for a a gift I have planned using the papers from the previous post. In the meantime I can't decide what to make.

 I could make up the prize package for the Facebook competition. Only one person made a suggestion for a clock as a prize, so I thought I may do a clock, a valentines card, a mothers day card, a fathers day card & possibly a couple of birthday, thankyou cards, not quite sure yet.

I am having one of those can't make my mind up days. I think it probably best if I don't craft at all, maybe I will pamper myself instead. My nails could do with a bit of attention after all the crafting lately, all I have to do is choose a colour (another decision to procrastinate over lol).

I have finished altering my letters. I did'nt plan anything out I just got a load of stuff together & just did what I liked.
It turned out very dark & grungy, but I like that.
I could have kicked myself when I finished it & realised I had more metal bits stashed away, but too late now....will just have to do something else with them.
I apologise for the pictures but I don't have a camera & have to use my phone, so am very limited.
I cant fit all the letters in one shot & get a good picture, but am sure you can imagine them standing together.

EDIT: I have decided that I am going to mount all the letters on a base & link them with chain, or possibly a metal bar. When I do I will update this post.
