Santoro Mirabelle collection is divine!

I could not wait to use these papers! They are gorgeous.
After an hr of just looking & stroking (fellow crafters will totally understand),I decided to make a shadow frame.
I am going to add other embellishments to this & possibly alter the actual frame, but thought I would share a "so far" picture.
In my head I have already used the complete collection for cards, bunting, mini albums, canvas's altered books etc etc.
I LOVE this collection. Really looking forward to getting creative with them.

Lots of new stuff!

As the weather has been so awful & I am still feeling poorly, I have been doing a little crafting.
Just finished  this 8x8 mini using a craftworks card paper collection, & album.
Really pretty papers...I used the whole pad for this mini!

Birthday Invitations

Shame on me for not blogging sooner.
I have just been soo busy I haven't had any time to spare, plus I have done hardly any crafting :-(

I have to say I am loving my new Dienamics Bows. They are gorgeous.
Definitely worth the £16.

Last of my commissions

Yey....have finished my final Christmas commission.
It's a large (12") round box painted in a gorgeous deep velvet purple & covered in a lace tulle.
I made some shabby muslin & lace flowers with some lovely purple  wired ribbon for the top & added the clock face, eiffel tower, key & metal butterfly. (all of which have been painted, embossed, & gilded)
I was very tempted to add more but stopped myself. I have to remember it's for someone else....& less is more
All I have to make now are a few gift card wallets & I am done with my crafting until after Christmas.

Christmas crafting....who me?

This is what happens when I get bored!

Well Christmas is well & truly closing in & I have yet to finish my Christmas shopping.
I have been stuck in the house all day today & out of sheer boredom I made this wreath.
Apologies for the awful picture quality, no sooner had I finished it my mum had put it up!
I bought a couple of polystyrene wreath rings the other day for a £1 & had a roll of tulle so thought why not.
It was fun to make....may do a red one next, might get some large poinsettias.
I have also managed to finish off some Christmas projects that I am giving as presents....will post pics tomorrow.
All in all I have had a productive crafty day. Time to go & wash off all the glitter & get cracking with dinner.

A little Christmas magic

Today I have been working on a Sleigh & reindeer set I bought from Spencer Brooke Designs (you can find them on FB).
What a mess I made with my embossing powders & glitter lol.
I painted the sleigh red then used a red tinsel embossing powder , but I wanted more sparkle so before it cooled down I added some ranger fine glitter. The picture does not do the sparkle justice.
Am still working on the reindeers but will add a picture to this post when finished. I am painting these brown & using a cinamon glitter to add sparkle.
Great quality wooden pieces & I will definately be ordering from them again.
